BFG by the lake

First things first. Sherman, is extremely prone to car sickness. He throws up when he's been in the car for over 20 minutes. Ok. So we drove the 19 minute drive there. Half way there he began to lick his lips. I scratch his head, "It's okay, you will be fine." I comfort him. He still licks his lips. 2 minutes left, he begins to cough and drool excessively. Finally we arrive at the reservoir, he stumbles around, then regains his balance. I am literally sweating at that point, no joke. So we take him around the 1 mile walk, you would think that an American Pit Bull Terrier would be barking at the passing dogs. And there were a lot. We saw:

  • 2 Dobermans
  • 1 golden retriever
  • A lot of poodle mixes
He did not bark at any dog. Amazing! And by the reservoir, there is this path that leads to the water. Because it's winter, it was all ice so we didn't let him off leash. But he tried to grab our walking stick! He jumped on the rock and snatched it right by the bag! What a brat! Any way we headed back and hopped in the car. And he literally sounded like he was about to yak all over that car. He is now asleep in his bed. But that must have tired him out cause he is sleeping like a log!
